Hi everyone, I'm new! OK. I just got a PowerMac G5 for Xmas and I LOVE it. My friend gave me a copy Photoshop 7 to use. I put in the CD and it was all WIndows executeable stuff. I told him and he said I needed to get a Win->Mac converter for Photoshop 7. Where can I get it? I've scoured Google and had no luck.

Is it a Windows version of Photoshop? If that's the case it simply won't work. I've never heard of a converter that magically makes a Windows app work in MacOS.

You could try VirtualPC, but that will just run the Windows version of PS inside of Windows software emulation. If he *gave* you the software. In other words, if he transferred the license and exclusive right to use the software to you, you can probably buy a MacOS upgrade package for a little cheaper like here.

Hope this helps.

And, for the record - virtualPC is not available for the G5 yet - MS is still working on it.
