I've been using PS CS3 beta and have yet to purchase the full package. Is it alright to go ahead and make a profit from my work eventhough I havent paid for the software [beta]? I've read that they can crackdown on folks who have not purchased licenses (pirate) and sell their work.

You're talking about work you did using the beta before it expired?

Do you have the license that came with the beta? That should answer your question. I'd imagine that commercial use of the beta would be allowed, especially since it required a valid CS2 license. But the CS3 beta license should tell you for sure.

If you have a pirated version of CS3 beta, it is unlawful to even use, not just sell work made with it. If you used a VALID key from a VALID copy of CS2 that you have the receipt for, then you are within all legal limits.
