PS3 3.10 firmware kills music with slideshows!

For those using a PS3 slideshow + music feature as an alternative to the AppleTV -- with the 3.10 firmware update while playing music you cannot access slideshows, internet, settings, etc. without first closing the music browser. I called customer support and they were surprised. They tested their PS3 and confirmed the same. It was the first anyone there heard of this. They said hopefully 3.11 would be out soon.

Works fine on my 3.10 PS3!

Start playing some music, then press the PS button, scroll to photos and start a slideshow and it works fine.

Same with web browser.

UPDATE: roidy is correct -- I learned (thanks to another PS3 user) you have to first change your music setting (surprised Sony CS didn't know this). The new firmware changes the default output. I've yet to test it, but was assured it worked. Stay tuned.
