ps3 and imac internet problems, please help

so i brought a ps3 and i want to connect the ps3 to my Imac and using the imacs wireless internet but connect the ps3 through the imacs wireless internet ethernet cable, please help

if I can ask this question, why not connect the PS3 to the same wireless that your iMac connects to?
