I got Alpine Loop and Ocean band. I have around 7.5-8 in wrist and while Alpine L is perfect and even could maybe go to medium size the Ocean band is kind of small. It does close but to the second last hole. If anyone has larger than 8 inch wrist it will likely not fit. I will maybe see to find an extension that Apple sells for Scuba suits. Just a warning.

Yep got the same issue on the last hump with the Ocean. The Alpine is perfect other than I wish they had done a carbon fiber hook or something that would rub or scratch my MacBook for us keyboard "warriors". It sits right on my underside of my wrist.

Same here. Too snug on first hole by just a little. 50 bucks seems pretty steep. But I’m glad there’s an option. Watch is cool!

I use the last notch for most comfort. The extender is way too long for me, amy my wrist is 197mm.

Hold on. Are you saying that at 197mm wrist the regular Ocean is on the last hole but when using extender it is too long and doesn't properly fit on the bare arm? I really hope that's not the case as I was planning to get extender and my wrist is only 190mm or so.

When I use the extender, it wraps completely around my wrist almost back to the watch face. The extender piece, which is just the bottom part of the strap, is longer than both parts of the original strap combined. I'll be returning mine.

I can completely confirm this. I have a 215mm wrist and no way I can wear ocean band extension. Thinking about using scissors to make it work.

I chose the large alpine loop size over the medium for this exact reason. The large size leaves me about three loops before I hit the end and it is on the side of my wrist rather than at the very bottom. When I went to an apple store and tried on the medium it hit right in the middle on the bottom of my wrist where scratching my MBP would quite easy.

My wrist is not that large. If you do have the extension though you should be able to trim it if you wanted.

Had to due it with a non apple band in the past.

Personally though for the price I’d likely just get a different band

My understanding is that the extender is meant to be worn over a wetsuit or drysuit sleeve. So, not intended for bare wrist use.
Go ahead and wear it over your wetsuit --- it is not a REQUIREMENT. Besides, unless your wetsuit has the thickness of a parka, I don't think it will fit even then. See my picture above.

Has anyone actually scratched their MacBook with an official Apple Watch Band? I used to be concerned about that.My Ocean Band clasp ends up on my MacBook as well. No scratches yet.
