Wasn’t sure where to put this so apologies if it’s in the wrong area

But just a PSA, the Beats Studio pro sound absolutely incredible when you use the internal DAC via USB-C to your phone / iPad / mac or whatever.

They’ve always sounded decent in wireless mode. But I was just messing around and forgot you can plug them in and holy. Cow. There is so much missing when you’re in Bluetooth mode. There’s more low end, more detailed high end. The low end is so strong, there’s more information in the songs that is now being presented somehow. Like suddenly the full bandwidth has been turned on and let through.

I can’t believe my ears how good it sounds plugged in. I’m going through all my music now like it’s the first time I’ve heard it.

The same applies to the Solo 4, even with its analog input. Every Apple product that still has an analog output likely has a DAC sufficiently capable of rivaling a connection over Bluetooth.
I am still awaiting the Airport Max to incorporate this feature.

Apologies for hijacking the thread but seeing as you refer to Beats Studio Pro - have you encountered any issues with Noise Cancellation at all?

Just asking as I’m getting a constant whooshing on the right side when it’s enabled.

No sorry mate that sounds like maybe there's an issue with yours :(

The noise canceling is pretty consistent in my pair.
