Just updated to 18.1 and all of sudden couldn’t turn off Transparency mode on my AirPods Pro 2. Apparently 18.1 (paired with firmware 7B19) by default, disabled the ability to turn off Transparency mode when not needed.

Need to enable “Off Listening Mode” to bring back the Off setting. What a terrible way to unnecessarily drain the battery if someone didn’t understand to turn on this setting. :rolleyes:

Sorry to hear this. Everybody is rushing to install 18.1 without knowing what they are going to get with all of the latest changes.

My Pro 2s have worked really well for me for over a month now and if I had installed 18.1 they would have stopped working as the UK haven’t approved the use of them yet.

I will wait for 18.2 or 3 or even 4 until all the bugs etc have been ironed out.
