Apologies if this has already been covered but I haven't seen it from a quick search.
The Ocean band is awesome! It was a no brainer choice for me as I live on a boat and free dive a lot in the summer - my previous watch SE1 was already starting to go faulty from so many swims including down to about 15m before I lost it this summer when the regular sport band opened while jumping off the boat. So the Ultra with ocean band (in midnight) had my name on it.
What I hadn't expected was how comfy the ocean is - the material feels similar to the regular sport band that I loved, but even better as the 'tubes' provide a degree of cushion and stretch. It also does look much better in person than on the marketing photos - less 'special' and more like a nice chunky watch band, with the titanium fittings giving a classy look.
The biggest problem I found with it though was that the Ti keeper clip that holds the end of the band would scratch on the front of my new MacBook while typing, and for a couple of days I stopped using it very sadly. I haven't seen anyone else mentioning this so don't know if it was just happening to me?
But I wanted to go back to it, and with a flash of inspiration tried putting the strap halves onto the watch upside down - ie with the clasp on the bottom side of the watch and the plain strap on the top. This is a little fiddly to fasten but not too bad, and I don't think it is noticeable when wearing the watch. What it does mean though is that the keeper clasp is on the inside of my wrist when I type, and no longer rubbing on the MacBook. With this change I love the strap and wear it all the time, including to bed for sleep tracking.
Hope that helps someone!
