I picked the gray Beats Fit Pro color because I thought it would be less conspicuous.
Well it is, but that is also its biggest problem - when it falls out onto the ground it is very inconspicuous. The gray color perfectly camouflages it against dirt, pebbles, asphalt.
Took me half an hour to find one that I brushed out of my ear while bicycling - I saw it land on the ground but could not find it.
Eventually I found it using Find My and listening for the tones, but even looking directly at where the sound was emanating I could not see it until I got down on my hands and knees close to it.
So just a suggestion for those that do active outdoor workouts: pick a color like pink ("Stone Purple") if you want to avoid losing your Beats Fit Pro. Your buddies might snigger at your color choice - until they lose theirs.
The ironic thing is that I actually think the Stone Purple is a great color and almost got it - but then at the last minute chickened out and went conservative gray. Big mistake.
