Hi Guys,

I have a jailbroken 3G. Is it possible to get a psp to use the iPhone's internet connection?

Thanks for the reply mate. I was thinking that. But if anyone has done this or knows of an app for the iphone which allows this please let me know.

Bump...

It would be great if someone could do this because with the skype capabilities on PSP.. If you could tether it to the iphone 3g internet, you could skype anywhere with the camera. Unlimited internet connection where ever you are at. Would be awesome for online gaming too.

I don't have a PSP to try it, but I imagine that this would work:

1. Use your Mac to create an ad-hoc network
2. Join the ad-hoc network with the iPhone
3. Join the ad-hoc network with the PSP
4. Disconnect the Mac
5. Enable PDANet on the iPhone
6. PSP should now be connected to the internet via iPhone's EDGE or 3G connection

The only realy probem is in creating the ad-hoc network. And of course this solution requires you to be within WiFi range of a Mac every time you want to initiate a connection. But once it is active you should be able to power down the Mac and leave it at home which going across town with the (already connected) PSP and iPhone.
