since I update 14.0 and then 14.01 , the open wifi at work doesn't connect since then. It takes me to browser homepage but get stuck in there. my home wifi is working fine, any tips please.? I have tried reseting network settings, even tried changing default browser to google, nothing works.

Have you spoken to tech support at work about this? That would be my first action, personally...

It sounds like the open wifi uses Browser based authentication if I read your initial post correctly. If so then first make sure you're using Safari for this and also work with your tech support to see if they can see where it's breaking.

iOS 14 introducted "Private Address" which scrambles your MAC address to avoid being traced around open/public wifi networks. It's enabled by default.

You'll need to go into settings for that particular WiFi network and toggle Private Address off.

That could be your issue, as it was a major change in iOS 14.
