Public Beta 4 Install woes

I got the notification that the new Beta was ready.

It Says "restart" I click yes.. then

"The Finder can’t quit because an operation is still in progress on an iOS device"


If I pull the plug. it re downloads the Beta then same error.

Fixed it.

I recycled the power on phone and iPad, forced a re start.. was able to log in and start update process.

I say eGPU users are still required to use the Intel UHD Graphics 630 to boot the system.

I have to disconnect the HDMI cable from the Mac Mini 2018 so the eGPU doesn't have a huge bottleneck as you can see in the benchmarks I ran.

Thanks for the heads up. Very interesting! I do seem to get the best performance when I finally get the eGPU working, and disconnect the Intel GPU.

Boot Camp boots directly into the eGPU. One wonders why MAC OS will not.
