Public Beta 8 is out...

Installing Public Beta 8 now. Hope it is stable!

I was getting intermittent hangs all day on a brand new 16" MBP, still not ready for prime time.

here, it's (so far) running beautifully; a mail issue has been resolved, and we can now see which tab is open in safari (and so on)....

I think I havent made moves since PB1 on my dual boot 2020 Air -- worth it?

I like how its called PB 8, when its really like the (fourth) one? Just coinciding with dev beta 8

Hmm, we obviously don't have the same experience.

This has been the bugiest beta I have ever tried. Google Drive File Stream not working, search in Mail is effed up, Filemaker have a lot of glitches, VPN was destroyed in latest beta, iCloud Drive sync broke with beta 8, etc etc.


It takes too long time to go back to Catalina, but at this point I think I have no option....

Hope this solves the battery life issue - I get around 90 minutes max on my MBP 16", runs super-hot, fans constantly running.
