Haha, I just posted something along these lines. I think DP4 is stable enough for me as a daily driver. Depends on what apps you use and such and if you're willing to live with some random freezes/crashes. But, I think DP4 is extremely stable.
Did you do a clean install or did you install over 10.9?i use it as daily driver, only one issue with mail and smartfolder for the rest:
- faster
- better
- nicer;-)

I've been on DP4 for a couple days and its my daily driver installed on top of Mavericks. No big issues so far. Hand Off is working nicely!
Do you guys use 1Password by any chance? That's the only app I have on my computer that's important and need working.
1Password works fine for me.
I wouldn't suggest it as a daily driver if there's anything you do with your computer that you need in order to do your job you get issues like sudden and arbitrary instability in stuff that works fine on officially released Mac OS, or even weirder problems like Pixelmator's entire tool palette showing empty, unclickable spaces under DP3 (magically fixed in DP4).
I say this as someone who works from home and uses his computer to do translation work, and has been using the DPs since DP2 as daily drivers. I never said my own judgment was non-awful. ; )

that's a problem with your setup, not Yosemite. I was using Pixelmator all last night on a 2011 MacBook Air w/4GB RAM and it ran smooth as silk.
I'm deciding whether or not to clean install my system and put Yosemite as my daily driver. I know there's still bugs and all features aren't out yet but that's not a big deal to me. What are your opinions?
