well will it?
tempted to try the public beta but concerned it could Roger my Apple ID.
because the reason why I ask this is that when it was first released iMessages and iCloud sync which was then stopped before it was re-released again. I lost quite a few important messages.why would it? seems an odd question. the OS, your apple apps, your icloud stuff... all tied to your apple ID. but why would an advance install of a developing OS affect the id itself?

The other thing I realised is there is no such thing as a stupid question! If you don't know, you don't know. simply put just ask!
It sounds like the question you're asking is "Can a public beta ruin my iCloud data?"because the reason why I ask this is that when it was first released iMessages and iCloud sync which was then stopped before it was re-released again. I lost quite a few important messages.
Apple ID will be fine BUT it is absolutely possible for beta OS to corrupt iCloud account that is tied to your Apple ID. I have experienced it in the past (around iOS 6 or 7) and I had to contact developer support to clear affected iCloud data.well will it?
