From the animations at the site, here's a shot from the demo for the phone history:

PULS phone history.png

We are the future of Fashionology. The PULS is more than a smartwatch, it’s a computer on your wrist - revolutionary and truly mobile. Call your friends, send messages, access your music library and more - all by using voice commands. Experience digital freedom.

Incidentally, I neither wear Gucci nor plan to buy a smartwatch. Simply, http://www.puls.com/#/puls was an unexpected redirect from http://i.am/****ed, which I stumbled across in a 2002 post. Serendipitous, but probably not amongst the redirects that Will could have foreseen :D

Seeing things to the left of the band – and words such as Fashionology – at first I imagined that it was an April Fool thing. No joke, it was covered by Vogue and others … in March.

With the Gucci connection in mind, quotes from 2013 and 2014:

… there are people who will purchase things based on the name. Louie Vuitton, Gucci and Burberry all make their lively hood on that. I do realize I am comparing a fashion accessory with a tech gadget. Yet, while anecdotal I do know a few people who specifically stated they have an iPhone because it is an Apple product and well an iPhone. Typically these people show little to no interest in Apple Computing products and use PCs. Shocker, I know!

… Apple is a status symbol like Gucci is, and the only difference is one is much more appealing. …

Cost, fashion and status symbols aside: I do find the PULS more appealing than Apple Watch …

Wasn't he plugging that smartwatch nearly 18 months ago on The Voice UK!

It wouldn't surprise me.

I never planned to buy anything like it, and I rarely watch that programme … like I said, serendipity. And I couldn't find the word PULS anywhere in MacRumors forums, so I posted it :)

If I remember correctly he even tried taking a call with it at one point around beginning 2014 to Cheryl Cole and it was a bit of a disaster. :D

Oh OK so I wondered whether the PULS trademark was relatively new, a glance at http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.puls.com shows that it has been around for a while. If the word has been around for so many months, is this really the first topic to mention the word, in relation to a watch, in MacRumors forums?

This thread starts with an opening link to the puls handset on CNet - but not referred too as PULS by thread posters.

Oh we discussed it in the alternatives I think .. God my memory is bad - I posted on it :p

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/will-i-ams-smartwatch.1723095/

But no-one mentioned PULS as I don't think any of us new what it would be called ...

So not too much traction.
