Bought an MBP 13" 2020 3 weeks ago... arrived yesterday... (During the M1 announcement)

Do I return the original MBP (and the airpod pros i bought with it) and buy a new MBP with the M1 (without the airpods), or stick with the "latest" Mac book pro as per 3 weeks ago when i bought it....

HELP PLEASEEEEE SO CONFLICTED ABOUT THIS DECISION!!!!

What you mostly do on your MBP? I think it might help if you consider the things you do like does it require that much performance and battery life?

Its not intensive work, but I do expect to have large amounts of safari tabs open, word documents and media all at the same time. Mainly chose the MBP because of the better screen, speakers, touchbar and overall experience when compared to the MBA. The issue I have though is whether or not a processor upgrade would be necessary given that I would loose the airpods pro in the process.

Thanks

I will go with MBP 13" 2020 with airpods if its not that intensive work. Plus you will get four thunderbolt ports rather than two that MBP with M1 offers. Dunno, just my opinion. It is still up to you mate.

How long do you typically keep a new computer before replacing it?

If you'll replace the system within the next two or three years then maybe just keep it -- if you tend to keep systems for five+ years, I'd send it back.

That's a good point of view.
