Hello, im considering buying an iPAD/IPAD pro to use mainly at work.
I want to be able to organise and take notes / todo lists etc and also have a number of books in iBooks and Kindle which i want to be able to read and annotate/add notes.

The iPAD pro seems to be what most people use but here in the UK the 64GB pro with pencil (totalling the equivalent of $950!!!!) is more that twice the price of a 32GB iPad with something like this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ciscle-Ele...F8&qid=1507844218&sr=8-1&keywords=iPad+pencil

Few questions as i have a hard time justifying the pro given the price difference unless there really are significant usability/productivity gains:
1) if i want a few apps, store some books and annotations I'm thinking that 32gb (26gb free) would be enough?
2) are there any apps/functionality i wouldn't be able to use, given my needs, by going with the normal iPad with the cheaper pencil?
3) IN terms of annotation and note taking, i need to be able to highlight key parts of books and (ideally) bring those together into a single document so I can have a list of key activities with references across multiple books - is that possible?
4) recommendations for best note taking app - organising projects and pages within a project, ideally able to translate written text to typed
5) is MSOffice available for both devices and can they translate written to typed?

all help appreciated!

thanks for the replies so far, i have been using onenote at work recently and found it to be deceptively simple but quite good - albeit our company doesnt permit documents to be sent or shared with non-compliany devices which is a little rubbish.

Ill check out those links!
