Hey all

Might be an odd question, but is there a way to see what Mac apps you purchased/downloaded if you DON'T currently have a Mac?

The reason I'm asking: A have never owned a Mac but a year or two ago I bought a Macbook to try it out. For one reason or another, I didn't keep it. During that time I MAY have downloaded the demo of Final Cut Pro, but can't for the life of me remember for sure if I did. I'm again considering getting a Macbook, and one of the big factors is to try out FCP (For real this time) but if I did already downloaded the trial back them, I assume I would not be able to now.

Hoping there is some way I can see if I did indeed download it previously.

Do you have an iPhone or iPad? You can view your purchases from either device—Not purchased on this device. Alternatively, if you are on a Windows machine, download iTunes for Windows, sign in to your account, and check your purchase history.

Yeah I have an iPad, iPhone, and Windows Computer. I wasn't sure if my purchase history would show up on there though.

It just occurred to me that the trail is a separate download outside of the Mac app store so there wont be any history of it in my purchase history. I'm also guessing/assuming if I download it on a completely new Mac, it will probably work as a new and unused trial version....which is exactly what I want.

If it was a couple of years ago I'm pretty sure you'll be able to download a trial again.
I can't be specific about how long you have to wait but in my experience you can always get another trial eventually.
But it wouldn't be usable now anyway so I don't think you really need to look for it.
Failing this, send a message to their help desk and they'll certainly give you another trial.
