iPhone 8/Plus Purchase iPhone at Apple store or through Verizon?

If you want to take advantage of an interest free payment plan, Verizon is the way to go. If you want to pay right away, Apple is the way to go. With the Verizon payment plan, I think you have to wait 30 days before you can pay in full.

If it is conveniently located, definitely the Apple Store. Much more pleasant customer experience. Pay full price. They will help you with setup and transfer of your old SIM if you have one with Verizon. Also consider the Verizon PrePaid plans. $40 per month for unlimited talk/text, 3 GB data with rollover to next month. $50 for 5 GB data.
Is tax included in the price? If so, I may have to let my older parents know about this.
Tax is not included. Here in Colorado the tax is 60 cents. $40.60 per month total. No fees.

Doesn't much matter where you buy. I usually just shop the deals. I got my 8 plus this year at Walmart and got a $300 gift card with my phone. Note though, Apple Store does not charge the restocking fee that other stores do if you decide to return it.
If you are getting a good deal through carrier or a third party store, then Verizon.. else Apple anytime.
I got a $300 off deal from Target for a Verzion connection for my 8 plus which made it a great deal. Otherwise I would have bought it from Apple Store with employee discount.

Recently I bought the Apple iPhone 6 through Verizon, I can Recommend to Apple phone through Verizon Because they sell iPhone at cheap rates.
