Purchased a 2019 iMac today....

My iTunes backup has more songs than I need, maybe I deleted songs back in the day from iTunes and kept them in my iTunes folder. Is it possible to connect my iPad to my iMac and copy all my correct music over to iTunes?

Update for anyone who cares, I downloaded imazing, paid for the full version, and successfully transferred all my music to my iMac.

To save space, I have it on a WD passport external HDD, in the future I might move it to my 2TB Fusion drive
