Hello,

I purchased the 21.5" 3.0 Ghz model with a 256GB SSD witch I was charged extra and today I looked at the same model and they included the 256GB SSD for the base price. Can I call apple to have a price change or will they change the price automatically? Do I wait until I get the computer and send it back to order a new one?

Give them a call they may just adjust your price, otherwise they will exchange it with no problem

I called apple and they were nice enough to cancel the order. Maybe with extra cash I can get something else instead. :)
So called "new" 21.5" iMac is identical to the one that you just cancelled, minus 256GB SSD and 1TB Fusion Drive becoming the base no cost feature. If you can get a price adjustment, I would just keep it.

If you want newer iMac, you have to get 27".

That would have sucked.

This cancellation costed me an extra week in shipping :( I don't mind as long as I can save some $$$.

Same thing happened to me with the 21.5. I did a chat online the day of the announcement and they are going to issue a refund for the difference.

Did the iMac come standard with 8 or 16 GB? If by default it is 8 you can save money placing it yourself. Or isn't RAM simply clicking it in behind?

They still come with 8GB standard and the 27” model is still user upgradable with the RAM access panel in the back.
