Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it's possible to return a newly bought iPad2 (32 gig) from AT&T to an Apple Store for a full refund. I don't like the fact that AT&T charges a 10% restocking fee in the event I want to return it there. That's $70, according to the salesman.

Thanks a lot.

Nope. The Apple Store will tell you to return the device to the store you bought it from if you are looking for a refund.

Sorry.

Then why didn't you buy it at Apple in the first place? That's what I'd call a $70 lesson in thinking ahead.

Nope, it needs to be returned to the place from where it was bought.
By the way, if you want to avoid the restocking fee, just buy it from Walmart, Bestbuy, Target, etc.
