Just a quick question, i scanned a couple pages and didn't see an answer. If I buy a movie on iTunes from my computer and want to watch it on my ATV2 do i have to stream by airplay or can I watch it from my ATV without my mac streaming it?

Purchased movies on itunes have to stream to ATV?

You don't need to use AirPlay, but your ATV will pull it from your computer's iTunes library. This all works from the ATV's end, and bypasses AirPlay.
I dont understand why apple doesn't let us buy movies and TV shows from the ATV and then just allow us to download them on our Macs later if we want to.
There is only 8 gigs storage on the AppleTV2. After about 2 movies you'd be full and have to delete or transfer. Not an ideal set up. I'd like to see the AppleTV allow purchases that are downloaded to the iTunes its connected to instead of having to go to iTunes to purchase.
