Hi guys :)

I purchased an 27" imac today from an apple store
and after using the imac for few hours, i found out, it was just too big for me
so i am thinking of exchanging it for a 21" and i was wondering if i have to delete all the applications, musics, photos and etc that i have downloded on the 27" before returning it to apple store??

Thank you in advance :)

You should if you have any sensitive data on your hd (for your own sake), but you don't have to. Apple will wipe it clean and prepare it for the second user.

I repeated the mantra that the 27" was too big for me over and over. It was too big for my desk. Wouldn't fit. No way. No how. Now i have one. I made it fit. I rigged up my desk with extensions for my studio racks just to fit the iMac. And all other screens have been ruined for me. My 23" Acer that used to be my monster looks like a sad little mini-screen.

At first I had the same impression. About a week later, I could not go back to something smaller(Especially used with BetterTouchTool - for its excellent windows management system).

I wish I had a screen like that at work!

My 27" refurb just arrived today as well. After looking at it in the Apple store,it looked huge, but it sure looks a heck of a lot smaller on my desk.

I contemplated between the 21.5" & the 27".... Sure am glad I made the right choice. I think my Dell 2405 will make a great second display.

I went big so I didn't have to go home.

I agree. But then, my desk was designed to hold CRTs comfortably, so it's no problem to push the monitors back. If I were in a college dorm room or something, I might opt for the 21.5".
