Purchasing a New Family Plan with iPhone as Second Line

Hi! I am interested in buying the iPhone. I am on Verizon right now sharing a plan with my dad.

Is it possible to purchase a new AT&T family plan [700 minutes] with a regular Nokia phone and iPhone as the second line? And then tack on the $20 data plan?

Yep, I just did this. I ported my wife's phone and mine. Signed up for the 700-minute family plan, got her a Nokia. Went home and activated my iPhone and told it I had an existing plan. Works like a charm. Good luck.
