Hi Guys,

I am looking at purchasing a second hand powerbook with the below specs. Am I correct in thinking that this is a Rev. D model?

Any assistance would be appreciated,

Thanks

Kelly

Yep, that would appear to be a rev D 12" PowerBook G4. Glad to hear that you have decided to make the switch to Mac- you will be glad that you did! :)

Thanks very much for your help.

No problem. :)

If I may, I would suggest possibly upgrading the RAM (you can find a good price on 1GB of RAM for the 12" PowerBook G4 at www.datamem.com ). Mac OS X loves plenty of RAM, although, depending on your intended uses, you may be able to get by with 512MB.

yay! I got my first Mac in December after also having a PC desktop for the last four years. I absolutely love it so far! I just recently realized that I am now more used to the Mac OS than the PC! Especially Expose, I love that feature. Anyway, enjoy, I'm sure you will grow to love it!

That is the very same computer that I am typing on. It is probably the best purchase I've ever made and I would highly recommend it. I have no serious complaints. Welcome to Macintosh! :D
Ditto (just moved onto couch,no longer at iMac). Great little system, well loved by all in my family. Ditto also on the suggestion to bump the RAM - it makes a big difference.
