he lives locally so im not worried about paypal stuff. thanks and o ya i have roughly 48 hours

Here is a start for you:

Canon 5D + Canon 24-105L (as a kit)= $2750 on Amazon.com and sold by them
Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro = $476 on Amazon.com and sold by them

So brand new you can spend $3225 or you can get used for $3000 with a few others, depending on what type of memory card it is they may be worth $0.

Amazon will probably be $0 tax, the lens gets free 2 day shipping, the Camera will probably have some shipping charge.

Personally, for that kind of kit at that price... i'd rather spend $300 or so more and have it brand new and under full warranty.

Seriously, that is kinda high. I have a flawless 5D that I would sell you with:

a.) Roughly the same actuations
b.) Delkin Professional pop-up shade (LCD and buttons haven't been exposed)
c.) 4GB CF card
d.) 18 more months of Mack Warranty

...for $1750 shipped UPS.

You can also toss in an unused (6-7 times...) EF 300mm f/4L IS lens (plus nice filter) for an extra $950. It's a beauty but I don't need it.

On internet sites, the 5D has become notorious for being a "dust magnet." Frankly, I think that's a bunch of bull. I've had my 5D for about 15 months now, and I've had to clean the sensor once. How do I do it? I simply keep my glass immaculate.

BTW- $3000 is a bit high for a 5D that has 13000 actuations. The 24-105 is a nice lens, and the 100mm macro is on my shopping list, but the 5D is going to be updated soon (hopefully this fall), and for that kind of money, you can get a new 5D mkII when they arrive.
