So pretty much all the plan info and activation info have been announced and i know that you activate it on the computer, but i'm on a family plan with my mom and dad and they are the account holders i guess you call it. I'm only 17. Do you have to be 18 to purchase at the apple or att stores and do i need the account holder there at the store? i would just really like to know because i plan on purchasing one for myself and my parents work tomorrow

(I know this has probably allready been discussed in another thread but i couldnt find anything so i made my own)

just give the store a call to make sure. You will need the last four digits of their SS # for sure.

The times have really changed, I remember going around as a kid to the houses on my street collecting cans for the deposits so i could buy a NES

I went in the store today to ask tons of questions and I was never questioned. I can assure you that I couldn't pass easily as 18+ and i'm 15. I really hope there aren't age limitations since you have to have lots of account information to activate it anyways.

All you have to do at the AT&T Store is just buy the phone, right? Worry about everything else (including activation) at home on iTunes, correct?
