EDIT: After I made this post, I discovered that Purify was the issue. Any Purify users want to chime in on whether or not they experience the same thing?

If there are any brave souls willing to potentially suffer through a reboot or respring, keep reading...

I regularly use the Houston Transtar website to keep tabs on Houston traffic. The traffic map is interactive, and you can click on any of the freeways to get estimated speed and travel times on a given section. Using my 6s Plus on 9.0.1, tapping on any of the freeway sections wouldn't do anything. Now on 9.0.2, the behavior is radically different- tapping on a freeway section causes either a reboot or a respring depending on the occasion. Does anybody else experience this? The link is below:

Thanks in advance.

Hi, don't get much of anything, much less a resorting.
Gotcha. One thing to note is that due to the site not being optimized for mobile devices, the click targets are pretty small and hard to nail down on touchscreens.

Darn autocorrect. resort = reboot. I tried again and found the touch points. Brings up another window with a grid on it. I didn't look to see what the grid was, but I tried for a few minutes and couldn't make the phone reboot or resprint. 6s 9.0.2.

It's all good, I know what you meant!

And I figured out the issue- I turned Purify off and I was able to get the grid you talked about- that's the traffic information that's supposed to show up. Turned Purify back on and sure enough- respring. I'll send the developers a note, but theoretically it doesn't seem like a content blocker should ever be able to crash the whole system.

Thanks for helping me troubleshoot!

Also in the newest update you can report if you have a problem with a website to Purify from the Share Sheet
