Has anyone tried this?

It seems fine with minimal bulk :)

Any brand of clear will show scratches and dust more than any other colored one. I'd suggest trying to find one from SwitchEasy, Belkin, Rocketfish (Best Buy) or Joy Factory that have other colors.

it looks nice, but over time it might turn yellowish?? or like he said scratch....

but now looks beautiful...did you buy it?

This is also true. My Belkin "clear" for my iPad 2 turned yellowish just after a few months of use. But, it was also a matte version so I don't know for sure if a glossy one would do the same.

I agree, clear does turn yellow after a while. But by that time, there will be a new iPad to buy.

My experience with MBP shells is that the glossy ones show scratches on the shell considerably more than the matte ones.
