I have a purple screen when operating Mac apps in fullscreen mode on my 13 inch MacBook Pro 2020 with m1 chip.
I have ordered the laptop and it was an issue right from the start. It only happens when you put Mac apps (Safari, Calendar etc.) in fullscreen mode so they appear in the mission control. When I open a new tab in safari for example. Everything that is supposed to be grey is purple. Menu bar stays grey. And yes the issue is also when I'm not in dark mode. And its only an issue on default Mac apps averting else is fine.

I call the support they looked at it. Told me they never saw it. We did everything. Reinstall Mac OS. Delete the hard drive. Display Settings everything... In the end I ordered a replacement because nobody knew what to do. I received it 5 min ago. Set it up as a new Mac literally no custom settings or apps installed. SAME issue. That can't be right. Somebody must have the same issue. I haven't found a solution only or other reports of that online. Please help me. I'm going nuts here

There is an option for the transparency of windows. Disable it and the purple background is gone. Dunno where it is exactly (on the phone right now). Maybe someone else can give you the exact location.

You just made my day. I don't know why but your right. I never thought of that since I never had a purple background and no one at apple support told me that. Any idea why its purple ?
