what would happen is you tried to use purplera1n on a 3G????

I want to jailbreak with redsn0w but I always have bad luck with jailbreaking.
purplera1n seems so simple and easy...anyone?

My guess is no effect and the program will either stop or crash.
But if u feel brave try it and let us know

One time, I accidentally left my 3G connected while I Purplera1ned my 3GS. It put the 3G in to DFU mode and you have to restore it using iTunes and rejailbreak.

Hopefully, geohot will add support for the 3G in Purplera1n because it really is ridiculously easy with his app.
