It seems, for me at least, that push has been down for a couple of hours now between MobileMe and my iPhone. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm not getting mail, calendar, or contacts and haven't changed a thing.

same here, no idea how long it has been going on. I have updated my calendar online several hours ago, and it is still not reflected on my iphone. I also had email online that is not on my phone.

and yet the mobileme status under the web settings says everything is working normally. how wonderful

Same here.

Does anyone know, if you set up an additional POP account, does the phone go out and poll the POP server every so often, or is it manual only?

It is working fine for me at the moment. Try rebooting you phone to see if that helps.

You can have itset up to fetch every few minutes or so if you want.

Calendar items created on the phone yesterday are still not synced to MobileMe, but calendar items created on my Macbook synced right away!

Waiting online to chat with an Apple support rep right now.

Update: I spoke to someone online who made me remove my MobileMe account from my iPhone and re-add it. Even though the rep assured me that this would not lose my unsynced calendar items from the iPhone, it did. The syncing works again, but I have to try to contact people I had meetings setup with to figure out when they were since the data was lost.

Not happy...

the calendar is the issue for me at the moment

I created my work schedule for the first week in September and it synced to the cloud. Nothing seems to be going to or from Outlook 2007 though.

In addition, I had an all day event today for a birthday of a co-worker. The birthday is on me.com and in Outlook but has disappeared from the iPhone, since it was there yesterday.

I keep getting a mesage on the pc to reset the calendar using Mobile Me preferences on the PC, I have tried that several times already with Mobile Me to over ride Outlook and mothing happens but the same error message.

Mobile me is becoming very unreliable. I never had this many issues using palm or windows mobile.
