So, I've noticed that when I delete email on my desktop client, the deletion does not get pushed to the iphone. Really annoying. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes. Deletion doesn't seem to occur until another email comes in. Even then, it isn't guaranteed.

same problem here. I have been trying to figure this out since I got this phone.
very annoying to have old e-mails on the iphone that have already been downloaded, read, and most of them deleted, on my desktop e-mail application.
I was hoping the new update would fix this, but I guess not:mad:

I Think it's just the nature of IMAP email clients - when you delete the email, it just gets flagged for deletion, and won't actually push the delete. When you purge messages marked for deletion, it should push those up to the cloud and down to the phone.

From my understanding it shouldn't matter IMAP or POP, as POP is what I am using. Once I delete it one place, I should not see it when I download form my apple Mail desktop application. It should be deleted from my e-mails host server, but this is not working here. The same thing worked normal on my old Samsung Blackjack.
