I am not sure if this was happening before or just started. Normally I have been just deleting the messages within the Web Interface.

Same experience

I can create a contact on my iPhone and it will push to iCAL on my Mac and to the cloud in MobileMe. I delete a contact in the cloud and it will delete the contact in iCAL on my Mac and on my iPhone. But if I delete a contact in iCAL on my MAc this contact won't delete in MobileMe or on the iPhone.

Not even if I manually synch!!!! That really sucks..

More information. If I delete the mail message on the iPhone and then look at Outlook (windows) it shows a line thru the subject meaning the file has been deleted but not purged (this information must have come from MM). If I look at MM Web Page it shows that the file has been red but no indication that the file was deleted (but not purged). Now in Outlook I have it setup to actually PURGE DELETED Files when I move from 1 folder to another. So as soon as I switch folders in Outlook the file is removed from Outlook and also from MM. This part is the way I have noticed how IMAP applicaitons work.

So, the mail message is obviously in a DELETED Status on MM but there is no indication of that fact. I could not find a preference for this.

Anybody else know of a preference?

This is pretty much how it is working for me also. Evidently me.com mail has no way of filtering out of the inbox email that has been marked for deletion but not purged yet. I can't believe Apple didn't catch this bug in their testing (that is, if they did any testing). The interesting thing is, if you delete one of the already deleted messages in the inbox, it will go ahead and remove all deleted messages.

For right now, I'm just not even messing with me.com. I'm just using my iPhone and Outlook Express to access email on my PC.

I just tested the delete 1 and they all delete. Worked.

I also noticed that the same message is also in the Trash folder. For some reason they put it in the Trash folder but does not remove from the InBox. Maybe the iPhone just moves it into the Trash folder and Sync's that. Oh well, I assume they will address this soon.
