I sometimes turn, notifications on and off and each time I turn them off it seems I get this meesgae from each push app...

'connect to iTunes to use push notifications... 'boxcar' notifications may include badges etc etc'

Anyone know why?

Ive got the push on/off button for sbsettings, not sure if thats my problem.

From what I've gathered from my push fix , that is exactly your problem. I don't know what it does when you turn push off and on, but it screws things up.

Push will work on JB phones

In order for Push to work, you HAVE to activate with an official iPhone sim
If you hacktivate, no push

Yup, ive had it working before and it worked fine. iPhone is activate via O2 and ive never had to unlock it.:mad::mad:

This is so annoying :(

If you have a valid iPhone SIM that can be activated by iTunes, try this :

http://www.xsellize.com/showthread.php?t=46431

If not, I sell push activation keys for users who cannot legally activate and provide support. Unfortunately, I'm finishing my Cydia app and I'm not selling them right now. I have a thread on here with people saying my fix worked as well as customer comments on my site. My site is www.pushfix.info

BTW, jimmy83, if you know how to use nimble and inject, you could save your certs, replace the keychain with my keychain-fixed.db file, and then inject the certs back into it. This gets you a new keychain structure that fixes most of the problems I have seen. My keychain-fixed.db file.

TO use the dev-team hack, do I have to restore my iPhone in order to "deactivate" it, or can I deactivate now so that it can be re-activated with a AT&T legit sim...? Thanks

Also, RELIK- Any ETA on either Cydia release or allowing purchases off your site again?

legaleye3000 : I saw your post about restoring the original lockdownd. I honestly don't know anything that, but hopefully you can find something on the net about it. Actually I had noticed a post at xsellize forums on that topic, but I don't know where it is at the moment.

I'm trying to get the Cydia release out by November 2nd. You may not hear much from me on here or on my site. Everyone needs to understand there is a large backend that I have to put in place to duplicate what Apple does for their 30% cut in the app store - credit card processing and distribution. This is also my first iPhone programming project so cut me some slack.

95% of the certs I sent out had zero problems, but some users in the Netherlands and Indonesia were having some odd trouble. Most problems were caused by users using broken apps (HINT: DO NOT use the SBSettings PUSH toggle - it will eventually break your push alerts, legit SIM included)

Notice I'm selling this *worldwide*

This works out well because I can integrate what I've learned into the final app, so please be patient.

Anyone is welcome to visit my forums at pushfix.info and learn from my Tips & FAQ post. I don't want to clog up this forum with push info - that's not fair to macrumors. I do what I can for free and I hope to earn your trust and maybe eventually your purchase if you appreciate my work. I am not forcing anyone to buy anything.

My advantage over borrowing a legit SIM is that my Cydia app will always be able to put your key back on if it gets lost from an upgrade or corrupted. However, you are free to borrow a SIM and activate that way.
