Hey all,

Ever since going to iPhone 4 my Gpush and PushGmail apps are not working. They both provided Push Notification alerts to new email messages without having to gon into the actual Mail app.

So with them not working, can anyone recommend an Push Notification app that DOES work on the iPhone 4?

Thanks
David

Why not just setup Gmail as an Exchange account?

I do have it setup that way, however one does not get any sort of on screen alert of a new message.

With both GPush and PushGmail when one gets a new message one is given an alert box on the lock screen of the new message (subject, from, etc). This keeps from having to unlock the phone and going into Mail every time your Mail sound beeps.

How does it notify you? It just plays a sound and puts up an icon badge, right?

Boxcar gives a push notice pop-up box with the subject line. Worth the time it takes to set it up.

Ah, well there's my answer.
