Hello, sorry if this has been covered already.

I've been reading alot and I'm quite confused even from the email Apple has sent regarding MobileMe.

Does MobileMe push to Macs/PCs? I know that Mac -> MobileMe there is a 15 minute fetch routine. But now I'm not so sure if MobileMe -> Mac is push or not? For me it doesn't seem to be push, only true push for me is from MobileMe to iPhone and vice versa.

So the question again, is MobileMe -> Mac/PC actually push or is it the same 15 minute fetch routine as in Mac/PC -> MobileMe?

Macs sync automatically, but it's not technically push. You can set how often you want to sync, every 15 minutes being the quickest.

My experience, when it works (which is not often) is this:

Mac -> MobileMe will sync every 15 minutes, unless you manually trigger. If you make a change on your iPhone OR MobileMe, it WILL trigger a push to your Mac. The changes on Mac DO NOT trigger a push.

Again, this is during that window when everything seems to be working. For me, that's about 1/4 of the time.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A347 Safari/525.20)

MM does push to mac (sync automatically kicks off). For some however this doesn't happen due to home router/port configuration. There is a thread on here discussing this point.
