I've got a UE boom (BT speaker) paired to my Mac, but I've tried to make several calls from the Mac and no sound comes out - it appears that the only option is the Mac speaker itself.

Can anyone confirm this please, or is it just me...?

(The UE Boom can act as a conference speaker when connected to a phone at least, has a Mic)

Have you tried System Preferences: Sound: Sound Effects: Play Sound effects through setting?

Also is System Preferences: Sound: Output set to your BT?

Does anyone know how the UE Boom works with an iPhone in hands free mode?

My UE Boom has the newest firmware.

The UE Boom is supposed to have 2 mics and hands free should work. But it does not work with my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.1.2).
If I make a call I don't here anything, but the music stops. During the call I can only chose BT Audio or iPhone/iPhone Speaker. And I only hear something on the latter setting.

Or does the iPhone 6 not support this? (I think it needs some kind of FWP 1.5 Standard or so).

EDIT: Does anybody know why logitech states IPX4 but apple sells them with IPX7?!

Thanks!
