Hi,

I just finished installing Windows XP on my brand new iMac and I thought I'd download all my ssteam games while sleeping. It seems like the Power Schemes option to turn off the monitor has no effect though. Anyone know if it is possible to put the iMac display to sleep while running Windows XP Pro?

Thank you!

Press Control + Shift + Eject on your keyboard. It will only put display to sleep.

There is something under Control Panels under XP. Power Management or something like that.

I thought that was the Mac OS short cut to put the display to sleep. Will that really works in Windows XP?

What software are you using? Fusion, Parallels, or Boot Camp?

If you are on Fusion and Parallels and you can use mac os shortcut to put display sleep. I'm not sure on Boot Camp. You can go to Start > Control Panel > Power Options.
