How can I put newsstand into a folder and still have it work?

I know there are ways to hide it completely but I want to stick in a folder but still be able to use it normally.

make a folder. while that folder is being created, drag news stand into it. have to get the timing perfect for it to work.

Doesn't that render the newsstand app unusable and make the springboard crash whenever you try to open it?

Springtomize and FolderEnhancer both allow newsstand to be placed in a folder. I no longer use springtomize but I still use FolderEnhancer and I have Newsstand inside a folder that is inside of another folder. And the newsstand app works fine for me although I never use it. But i just tried it out to confirm that it works with FolderEnhancer. Hope this helps.

I downloaded folderEnhancermand am pretty happy with it. Newsstand works fine from within it and I like the look of the folders as compared to the default ones iOS uses.

Thanks

No problem! FolderEnhancer is a fantastic tweak. I absolutely love my setup. Im glad you found a working solution. Having one main folder with several sub folders all together makes my springboard look incredible. One page. Half of it is the calendar widget pro notification addon which I use as a springboard widget via LockInfo's "Homescreen" feature. By far my favorite setup.
