Does anyone know how to put html back into iweb.

Basically a site was erased on the local machine, we downloaded the html files from the server back on the local but they are in html. Is there a way to put the site back into iweb?

Thanks any help given is appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't believe Apple created a way to do that. It would actually be a nightmare for them to try as well since it wouldn't be able to tell the difference between HTML it (iWeb) created and something a person put together in HTML.

I don't suppose you had Time Machine running or some other backing up method that you could pull from?

I think you can take the HTML and restore it to your hosting space, but Not reverse engineer the HTML back to Iweb.
