Hi,
I've got a MacBook Pro with a seemingly defective battery indicator light (part 922-9523), which I had to disengage due to the MacBook not noticing the battery (this might be due to a faulty SMC, but I've ordered a new indicator light to see if it fixes the problem). However, after disengaging the indicator, the MacBook doesn't go into sleep mode when closing the lid. Until I get the new part, does anyone know of a way to engage deep sleep mode with a simple keystroke? Having to go up in the menu every time is a bit of a hassle.
Please and thank yous.
