Now I've already searched the forum and looked at the common issue (time) about the MBP sleep, but mine seems a bit different. When I close my lid, the apple light immediately shuts off, and then my sleep light starts pulsing. However, after a few seconds, it seems like my computer turns itself back on, and the Apple icon and sleep light both turn back on. After several seconds, it goes back to sleep.

Is this normal and related to the RAM-writing issues that everybody else is having? Thanks in advance

Do you have any peripheral devices connected to the mbp?

What kind of network connection are you using?

Any programs running when you close the lid on it?
