you need to restore again, after making a new firmware file using expert settings. You can just leave most of the options that already exists in expert mode

no, what im asking is how do i put it onto my phone?

like do i have to use itunes?

cuz now my phone (firmware 2.0) is NOT activated so i cant update on itunes

i understand you can't update, therefore you have to put the phone in restore mode before connecting it to itunes so that it says "your phone has been detected in itunes, you must restore in order to use it" something like that. then you option click on restore and use the new firmware you made in expert mode.

ok, so it says i got a 1600 error, and now i cant turn my cell on

i went to the dev blog and they said this

Update 3: If you get Error 1600 from iTunes (or if you see in your log a failure to prepare x12220000_4_Recovery.ipsw), try: mkdir ~/Library/iTunes/”Device Support” ; if that directory already exists, remove any files in it. Then re-run PwnageTool.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN! lol HELP

nvm... i got it to turn on... but its still not activated... waht do i do

You need to put the iPhone in DFU mode (there are instructions online), and if you still have the error 1600, you also need to follow the instructions under Update 3 at blog.iphone-dev.org:
