I'm using Pwnage 3.1.4 on an iphone 2G. I've completed all the steps needed except when I go to restore the phone. Here are my steps:

1. Hold alt/option and click restore in iTunes
2. I select the custom IPSW that was created iPhone1,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw_Custom_Restore.ipsw) and click the Open button.

The restore doesn't complete and gives me this error:

"The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (10)."

Any suggestions?

Error 10 is normal when you made a .ipsw and you put in custom boot logos. Error 10 occurs when the boot logos are not made to specifications. Try remaking your .ipsw with normal boot logos. Everything should go fine.

I would just try the whole process again, and make a new ipsw file.
May have errored while being made?
