Pwnage to JUST remove SIM lock? not Jailbreak?

So I have been using my iPhone with ZiPhone, no complaints really.

But now Firmware 2.0 will be out, and I don't want to download things off of installer, I plan on getting everything I'll need from the App Store.

All I need is an as clean as possible solution to just be able to use any SIM card. No need to hack, or do anything, I just need the iPhone to do everything a locked one would do, minus the locked out SIM card. Is Pwnage the solution?

Just need a solution for Tmobile sim. Id like to take advantage of Mobile Me and Exchange. My preliminary searches last night seemed to point to PwnageTool.

I'm running a 1.1.4 Unlocked and NOT Jailbroken.

What I did was did Pwnage and Jailbreak it, unlock it, and everything.

Once it's unlocked and running, Pwn it again with only Activate checked.

The unlock isn't wiped. The only time Apple locked unlocked phones was when they added the Locate me feature, which was a baseband update. (between 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 I think)

Hopefully Apple didn't need to change anything in the baseband. But, it might still need to be Activated. Though, if you upgrade an activation might carry over. Someone will have to try it first.
