hey so i want to uninstall pwnage to and put my iphone back to normal could someone give me like step by step instructions or give me a link to some but i couldnt find any
thanks

Can't you just restore it through iTunes? That is what I did after I did the whole jail break thing on mine.

is that all it takes i wasnt sure if i had to do anything else or if i could just restore it through itunes

If you unlocked it you have to rerun pwnage and tell it to lock the phone. And then restore using iTunes.

Actually if its unlocked*, all you have to do is install BootNueter via installer.app, and relock it that way.

Other than that, a restore in iTunes will 'de-jailbreak' your iPhone.

* = Edit... Im sry lol

what if i were to just restore it what would happen? would it still be locked just not jailbrocken?
thanks

Is your phone unlocked for use with other carriers? If so, restoring it will not re-lock the phone! If it isn't unlocked, yes a simple restore will put your iphone back to stock appearance. (not jailbroken)

Something to consider... If you've changed the carrier logo, you'll have to set it back to stock manually before restoring, or else you'll get stuck with the custom one...

If you are planning on selling the iPhone or something, I suggest more than a restore, something like a shred or wipe tool such as this: http://sleepers.net/news/?p=174
