This may be a very simple thing, but I can't figure out how to do it!

I would like to use iPhoto (or indeed an alternative programme) to view a 'slideshow' of photos stored on a photo-cd without having to import them into the iPhoto library, in a similar way to when you play an audio-cd though iTunes without importing the tunes. Surely this can be done, can't it!?

If not, is there any other way of easily viewing a large no. of pictures from a Photo-cd without having to save them all onto the HDD, or having to open all the files individually.

Your wisdom is much appreciated in advance.

If you burn the cd from within iPhoto you can indeed view the photos without having them on your HD. With a Kodak Photo CD, however, all the functionality that you have is to import the pictures off the camera.
